Chris is originally from Christchurch, New Zealand and is a proud Kiwi-Canadian since becoming dual citizen in 2008.  Chris studied Business Administration at the University of Ottawa where he developed a passion for Business Law. This led him to pursue a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) at the University of Otago in New Zealand. Upon his return to British Columbia he obtained a Certificate of Qualification from the Federation of Law Societies of Canada.

Prior to attending law school, Chris enjoyed a range of technology related roles, including being a Technician with the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralypmic Games.  That opportunity introduced him to many of the local sites and allowed him to gain an appreciation for the great lifestyle British Columbia has to offer.

With his multi-jurisdictional perspective of the law, Chris is excited to begin his legal career in Vancouver with Barbeau, Evans and Goldstein.

Chris will be assisting members of the firm in the areas of real estate, corporate commercial, wills and estate and intellectual property law.  Chris can be reached at chris@beg-law.com or at (604) 688-4900 ext. 17.
