Harper says foreign asset sale will be examined, but Tories won’t support increased protectionism

Prime Minister Harper endorses a review of the controversial $1.13 billion (U.S.) deal that will see Ericsson gain control of some of Nortel’s highly valued, next-generation wireless technology, but makes it clear that he does not support increased protectionism.  With an export driven economy, this Canadian Prime Minister clearly understands what is in Canada’s best interest on international trade.
