The media has been doing a rather through job of warning computer users about the potential problems that may arise from the DNSChanger malware threat.  This particular piece of malware has the potential to hit upwards of 10,000 computers in Canada, and 300,000 computers in the United States.  The Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) has developed an online checker to indicate if your computer system may be affected by DNSChanger Malware — malicious code that was used by a criminal gang recently apprehended as part of the FBI Operation GhostClick. To learn more about this malware, please visit Public Safety Canada. As there is some significant chance that this malware will become active on Monday, July 9th, 2012, we suggest that our clients, friends and followers check their systems at www.dns-ok.ca. Thank you.
